KCSA 97.1 FM is San Angelo’s community radio station. We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving the Concho Valley with music, news, and local programming.
Our broadcast signal comes from the top of the historic Cactus Hotel in downtown San Angelo, Texas.
KCSA first went on the air on December 6, 2002, with Christmas carols for the Concho Christmas Celebration.
We feature a unique mix of music from the 1940s through the 1980s, along with songs from local artists. Our blend includes everything from Glenn Miller and Patsy Cline to Chicago, Chuck Berry, and Elvis.
KCSA is completely community-driven and independent. We are run by volunteers and supported by listener donations, not commercial advertising. This allows us to focus on what matters to San Angelo.
